Biography

Timothy Shibles

My name is Timothy Shibles, and I am a production design student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem. In the past four years, I have worked on more than two dozen short films and designed my third and fourth-year thesis films. In the summer of 2023, I spent eight-weeks in Los Angeles interning for Emmy-Award-winning production designer James P. Connelly through the Television Academy Foundation internship program. I have art directed and coordinated two Worthen Brooks feature films for Hulu: Appendage (2023) and most recently, Control Freak (expected in 2025).

I find myself to be extremely well-rounded with a knack for art direction and coordination but also a powerful flair for production design and set decoration. I grew up around Central Florida and spent my teen years outside Raleigh, North Carolina. In May of 2025, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to pursue a further career in the art department.
